The famous annual Regent Street Festival is back! This time its themed ‘Fashion, Food & Festival’  - and that’s exactly what you can expect! This year’s fashion theme will see stunning catwalk shows and fashionable spectacles on Regent Street, with in-store styling, makeovers, music and competitions popping up in stores throughout the day.

Traffic-free as always for the Regent Street Festival, live music will take centre stage on the street, showcasing as yet-to-be-announced live bands providing a soundtrack of style. This is always a big deal every year and this year looks like it will far from disappoint!

There will also be lots to do for kids including a carousel rides, face painters and balloon artists.

Come and celebrate the end of the fasting month (ramadam) for Muslims. Organised by several Muslim groups and the Mayor of London, you’re invited to come and join the fun and celebrations!

There’ll be lots of art, music and Poetry, exhibition  and a meditating workshop as well as glorious food to mark the end of the fasting month.

With a tagline like “a free destination for the incurably curious” and boasting a Library, a café and a bookshop on top of their calendar packed with free events, lectures and exhibitions, the Wellcome Collection seems to have it all. Never has a place made science and medicine seem more interesting than this quirky venue situated on Euston Road, not far from Bloomsbury, a kooky pocket of London historically associated with medicine and the arts.

Their current (free!) exhibitions include SKIN, which covers four themes of the human body’s largest organ: Objects, Marks, Impressions and Afterlives. The philosophically-focused exhibition explores the biological factors of skin, its history as a subject of medical study, and how our (tattooed, scarred, wrinkled) skin tells a story of our lives, amongst much more.

Treats on Elasticity is an upcoming (free!!) event all about… you guessed it! Elasticity. A weird topic it is, to be sure; but from the sounds of it this evening of readings, poetry and performances will be nothing but entertaining. A neuroscientist, a condom expert and a slew of artists and writers ought to keep you interested in physical and theoretical elasticity for a couple of hours! I’d go out of curiosity alone! Earn your free ticket to the Give, Get given gig on 24th Sept which promises an all star line-up of big names of the music industry. All you have to do is earn your ticket through doing some community work. It’s all part of theOrange RockCorps project, exchanging your time doing community work for concert tickets!

Your volunteer project could be something like helping to clear rubbish from the Thames or painting fences in a kids playground – either way, you’ll be doing something good, giving you the feel good factor & your ticket at the end of the day.

Confirmed acts for the gig on the 24th Sept 2010 are Pendulum, Mark Ronson, N-Dubz and Taio Cruz so make sure you book yourself for a project before the event to get your free ticket!

Authentic Malaysian street food, live music & Arts and Crafts are what you can expect to see at Malaysia night at Trafalgar Square. Unsuprisingly, the highlight of this event will be the free tastings from stalls from 20 Malaysian restaurants.

After indulging in some seriously tasty Malaysian cuisine, you’ll be able to wash it all down with traditional drinks from the tea and juice stalls around. If you’re then inspired to go on to make your own Malaysian food at home, don’t worry, you’ll be able to buy authentic ingredients there, not to mention cooking expertise from the stall keepers!

As if the food isn’t enough to keep you entertained, you’ll be treated to stage performances of you can watch a variety of traditional and contemporary Malaysian performances on the main stage.
