Free Outdoor Films: The Kite Runner
There’s nothing more perfect on a Summer evening than a Free outdoor film screening of well loved flicks. The Scoop’s free screenings event runs from 15 Sept- 01 Oct 2010 with recent favourites including Up in the Air, The Kite Runner & Dirty Dancing.
The films are open air so everyone can watch, just find a spot, settle down and don’t forget to bring your popcorn! Check before you go though as screenings might be cancelled if it’s raining!
On Thursday 16th, watch The Kite runner, accessible, deftly directed and moving tale of childhood regret and adult atonement that covers three decades. Set against the backdrop of tumultuous events in war-torn Afghanistan. (2007, 127 mins, US Cert 12A)
