Free Outdoor Films: North by Northwest
There’s nothing more perfect on a Summer evening than a Free outdoor film screening of well loved flicks. The Scoop’s free screenings event runs from 15 Sept- 01 Oct 2010 with recent favourites including Up in the Air, The Kite Runner & Dirty Dancing.
The films are open air so everyone can watch, just find a spot, settle down and don’t forget to bring your popcorn! Check before you go though as screenings might be cancelled if it’s raining!
On Thursday 23rd September watch North by Northwest: A New York advertising executive is mistaken for a government agent by a group of spies and is pursued across the country whilst he looks for a way to survive. Directed by Alfred Hitchcock, starring Cary Grant. (1959, 136 mins, US, Cert PG)
