Queen of Swaps Clothes Swap

Posted 18 May 2010

Bored of your clothes? Well persons junk is anothers treasure, so why not swap them at this Queen of Swaps event?

Have a spring clean of your wardbrobe and come along armed with an item or two that no longer excites you but might do it for someone else. Eat cake, drink tea, chat to fellow swappers, rummage for gems, donate to charity and leave with lots of lovely new (to you) clothes! It costs just £3 (proceeds going to MAG International)

The rules (otherwise it will just get nasty!)

  • Everyone must bring at least ONE item of clothing (high street to high end and everything inbetween as long as it’s in good nick); people can leave with as many items as they want
  • No-one can claim items before the swap starts
  • Don’t bring anything broken beyond all repair or that is stinky. Broken zips are fine
  • Remember – no scratching, spitting or biting
  • Any leftover/unwanted swaps will be donated to a local charity shop and/or put into the next swap.

Pangea Project will be serving brunch and bloody marys as well as tea and treats. For those of you bringing boys along – the bar will be open to entertain them while you swap!

£3 Entry (Charity), Sat 22nd May, 12pm-2pm, Pangea Project, 92 Stamford Hill, Stoke Newington, N16 6xs, Map
