London Fairtrade Festival
From Fri 7-9th May 2010, celebrate World Fair Trade day 2010, with a weekend of fairtrade food, music, entertainment and film. This event can be enjoyed by everyone, as there are workshops and story telling for the kids and free wine tasting, chocolate and films for the grown ups!
There will be opportunities to try lots of fairtrade products including Dubble, the Fairtrade chocolate bar created for kids, by kids. They’ll be celebrating its tenth birthday with free chocolate tastings and loads of kids entertainment. Not to mention a Fairtrade chocolate and wine tasting on Friday night and films on Friday and Saturday evenings.
As if that wasn’t enough, you can visit the stalls selling and sampling produce from a range of companies including Bishopston Trading, Cafédirect, Divine Chocolate, Ehrmanns wines, India Shop, Liberation Nuts, Pants to Poverty, Traidcraft, Tropical Wholefoods, Ubuntu, JP Juices, Zaytoun, plus many more.
The festival will be running at Potters Feild park near London Bridge, on Friday 7 May from 5pm to 9.30pm, Saturday 8 May from 11am to 9.30pm and Sunday 9 May from 11am to 5pm

Friday:
- 6.30pm to 7.30pm – Divine and Ehrmanns: chocolate and wine tasting
- 8pm – Black Gold film screening
Saturday:
- 11:30am – Dubble 10th birthday cake cutting
- 1pm to 4pm – Dubble children’s Opera performance
- 2pm – Trading Visions: live link to Kuapa KoKoo in Ghana / Tom Palmer book signing and reading
- 8.30pm – Black Gold film screening
Sunday:
- 1pm and 4pm – Dubble children’s Opera performance
- 3.30pm – Dubble rice crispie cake making / Cafedirect coffee snack workshop
