sholay

If there’s only one Bollywood film you’ll ever see in your life, it should be this one! Origionally made in 1975,  Sholay is a golden bollywood classic that will never ever fade.

It has an all star Bollywood cast, the main characters are played by Amitabh Bachan (now in Madame Tussauds) & Dhamendhra (pictured above).  They play two ex convicts looking to make a quick buck who find themselves trying to save a village from a dangerous gang instead.

In order words, the storyline is made up of a staple bollywood diet – some fight scenes, romance & lots of dancing and singing. A must see.

Free to watch, Sunday 11 April 7pm, Southbank Centre, Belvadere Road, SE1 map, website
