Free concerts at the Royal Academy of Music

Posted 13 Feb 2010

DukesHallI have discovered the  best way to chill out in the evening after working for the whole day:  go and enjoy an hour of free music performed by talented musicians at the Royal Academy of Music.

I was really pleased with this discovery: free concerts – classical, jazz ensemble, piano recitals, you name it – performed by London’s up-and-rising musicians who really care about music! Last time, the jazz ensemble performance was very impressive, and attracted a full house. There isn’t need to book or buy a ticket, simply turn up (though it is advisable to go early as seating for some concerts is limited). Better still, make it a special event by inviting a friend to go together!

The venue also features a cafe where you can have a quick coffee and snacks before the free music show.

The Royal Academy of Music also offers lunchtime concerts and instruments or singing masterclasses. Below is only a snippet of the upcoming. Check for the most up to date listings
